Who Are We ?

A.K. VIDYAMANDIR Pvt. Ltd. is a top ranking coaching centre of North India, imparting quality coaching to the Medical and Engineering aspirants, and has two separate wings viz Medical Wing and Engineering Wing, each wing being distinctly different from the other. Medical Wing of AKV having a separate identity of its own, was established more than 10 years ago and is ideally located in the heart of Chandigarh, the City Beautiful, in Sector 34. Besides this, A.K. VIDYAMANDIR is having its full time study centres at Ambala, Amritsar, Bathinda, Faridkot, Ghumarwin, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Jammu, Khanna, Ludhiana, Moga, Patiala, Shimla and Sirhind for providing coaching in the Medical stream. The Medical Wing is a paradigm of quality teaching, as its students have been exhibiting unique performance with very large number of selections including toppers in various Medical Entrances, year after year since inception. Medical Wing takes pride in its team of expert faculty members who have been exclusively trained for imparting coaching only to medical aspirants in their respective subjects. The faculty members are having long experience in preparing students for various Medical Entrances both at National and state level and are credited with the best of results. Every year our students get selected in the most prestigious AIIMS, besides toppers in the CBSE-PMT and various State level exams which can be attributed largely to the sincere untiring efforts of our highly dedicated faculty. A multi layered classroom course structure has been developed to cater to the needs of students preparing for NEET UG. AKV is a unique amalgam of factual knowledge, teaching and testing methodology. Meticulously prepared, exhaustive study material is self-sufficient to crack NEET UG. We have well equipped, centrally air-conditioned lecture rooms where the students are comfortable even during the oppressive heat of June and July.

A.K. VIDYAMANDIR has provided a small library in the Medical Wing which can accommodate 18-20 students. Besides this we have a well-equipped library in Sector 36-D, run by A.K.VIDYAMANDIR EDUCATIONAL & RESEARCH TRUST. The library has many course, reference, and competition books written by eminent Indian and foreign authors. A number of periodicals and journals are also subscribed to. The students can make use of the library by paying a very small fee. The library has a spacious AC reading hall where the students can study in their free time.

Transport Facility (Optional) (Click here)

Institute owns a fleet of buses providing doorstep service to the students of the city and those coming from adjoining areas of Chandigarh, on nominal charges. The transport is available only from certain selected sectors. This facility cannot be claimed as a matter of right.

Admission procedure (Click here)

For admission to any course, duly completed Admission Form, along with copies of certificates and testimonials, 2 Photographs must be sent to the Corporate Office, along with the Registration Fee of ` 5000 (which will be fully adjusted in the First Installment of course fee) or First Installment of Course Fee, which can be deposited either in cash at the institute itself or by Demand Draft in favour of "A.K.VIDYAMANDIR Pvt.Ltd." payable at Chandigarh. First installment of Course Fee must be paid before or at the time of admission or before start of the Classes.

Feedback appraisal system (Click here)

A.K. VIDYAMANDIR puts in all efforts to fulfil its responsibilities towards students’ overall growth for competitive examinations' preparations. One important aspect of this is to involve and apprise parents about students’ progress and hence the feedback system is developed. Each student is issued an ID card and regular attendance is taken. Absenteeism, if any, is immediately communicated to the parents telephonically. All regular class tests results are also communicated to the parents through E-mail/SMS on their Registered Mobile Numbers (RMN)/by post. For this purpose parents mobile numbers are regularly updated in our records. Parents Teachers Meets (PTMs) are also organized once in every three months wherein parents are invited and they can meet individual teachers and get first hand information about students’ progress and performance. Grievances, if any, are also redressed immediately and overall benefit of the students can be effectively ensured. For this purpose a dedicated email address (complaint@akvidyamandir.com) is created wherein any body can mail his complaint and its redressal is ensured within 48 hours.

Students’ doubt removal sessions (Click here)

Though teaching standards are maintained at such level that there is no doubt left in the minds of students about the clarity of concepts and their applications, yet at times some students encounter doubts . It is our endeavour to ensure a complete understanding of subjects by the students and that is why AKV has special Doubt Removal Sessions. AKV has special arrangements for doubt removal with specialized teachers for this. We provide this facility to the students so that their doubts are immediately removed and they have a smooth understanding of subjects’ concepts and their applications. Students enrolled with any course of AKV can avail this facility with prior appointment.
